Terms and Conditions

Hello, and thank you for being here. This page outlines the terms of our therapeutic agreement. My goal is to be as clear and open as possible, so we can focus on what truly matters, your well-being. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Our Therapeutic Relationship

My primary commitment is to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for you. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their Ethical Framework. Our sessions will be tailored to you, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to best support your journey.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is the cornerstone of therapy. Everything you share in our sessions is kept private.

There are, however, some legal and ethical limits to confidentiality. I am required to break confidentiality if I believe there is a risk of serious harm to you or others, or if required by law (e.g., in relation to terrorism or child protection). I would always aim to discuss this with you first. As a BACP member, I attend regular supervision where I discuss my work with a senior therapist to ensure I am providing the best possible care; however, your identity is always kept anonymous.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged at the full rate.

My Commitment to You

I will always act with your best interests at heart, offering a professional service with empathy, honesty, and care.

Your Commitment

For therapy to be effective, I ask that you attend sessions on time and are open to the therapeutic process. It is a collaborative journey, and your active participation is key.
